Dazaa Dazaa in Usbekistan
Dazaa Dazaa is born on the 15th April 1973 in Nigeria. He is a mystic all round dreadlock Rastafarian a singer, dancer and percussionist. Until the point when his creative work developed into what it is now he worked in many different contexts - such as DJ in a ship, Artiste manager in Nigerian/ German cultural centre, Dance Trainer in a University, Children’s care-taker, Film Operator, Football Player, Technician etc. As he started making music, he experimented on his own for a while before joining other bands. This gave him the chance to develop his own style and to go for his dream. Later he founded groups that were a support for his musical ideas. His people used to call him Ayaya. One of his groups was the Ayaya Cultural Group for children and youths. He also founded a musical band called Ayaya Musical Band - with an album credit in 1994. It is called "Don’t loose control" Various institutions rewarded him with certificates. Among other things he served as the Provost of PMAN Lagos state. After that he joined the Nigerian film makers – NANTAP. Dazaa also acted in five home videos and in the Hollywood production "Beyond The Sea". Furthermore he made a documentary about the famous festival in lgboland – New Yam “OTUTE” festival in 1997. Then, he was given the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Secretary of Anambra State, so that, for a while, he seriously thought about doing local politics. In late 2000, destiny brought him to Berlin where he got together with a Spanish lady, a British man and some Germans. He met Sunny with who’s support a band came to life. First it was called Ayaya Musical Band, then the name was changed into Spring Water – The Healing Spirit. The team Dazaa Dazaa & The Spring Water has about 4-9 people both men and women. The idea behind that is called AFRITECH music. (Read more about the concept of AFRITECH music below.) In Berlin he organizes the Ayaya Cultural Troupe, where he combines tradition and cultures/ customs of the lgbo-Nigeria/Africa with singing, dancing, drumming and percussions. The Ayaya Cultural Troupe is doing shows and concerts. In addition to the groups, Dazaa is a solo performer. In his performances (One Man Show) he brings on stage all the diversity of his life and art work: traditional, cultural and modern styles mixed with play-back, mime, singing, dancing, playing and animation. Every show is unique and spontaneous for he is always involving the audience. Furthermore Dazaa is dedicating himself also to the Dazaa foundation, which is his charity that takes care of the people here and in his home town in Nigeria. The major issues are helping, supporting, teaching and speaking for institutions. (See www. Buddy- bear.com/charity) SPRING WATER Singing, dancing and playing with sweet groovy melodies is that you'll find in the music of Spring Water - The Healing Spirit.
